OFFICE HOME & STUDENT FOR MAC FOR MAC
I bought Office 2016 for Mac at the same time that I purchased a computer for my daughter online from the Apple Store.
It was only installed on the iMac - so it should work on the iMac. Office 2016 box with the product key in it to install ourselves. We were mailed her computer and a little Microsoft Her computer did not come factory installed with Office 2016. My daughter did not want it so it was never installed on her MacBook Air. I understand that Ron, but I have only installed it on the iMac. Please advise me on what to do to make this thing work. This is a useless purchase - a waist of around $140, ordered through Apple when I purchased her new computer directly from Apple online. It again? Since I've already installed it once that might not work. What do I do? How can I install the Product Key into Whenever I try to log in, it doesn'[t recognize the account. I have the original packaging and the product key card still intact, but have never been able to make it work except in a read only mode.
I installed Office in a sense - I can see the icons - but ieach time I try to use it it tells me I don't have a license to use it and asks me to buy it. Was told I couldn't return it, I thought I'd use it on my older iMac. I am a part-time university professor, so after I I purchased Office Home & Student 2016 for 1 Mac, originally for my daughter when I bought her an MacBook Air in November or December 2018, but she didn't want it (preferring to use Google Docs instead).
